Certhia Projects includes in Construction Management the following services:
- Assists in development of overall project concept.
- Constructability Review: Evaluates alternative design concepts, materials and systems, taking into account construction methods, cost, schedule and quality
- Prepare a work breakdown structure and issue updates as the design and construction progresses and updates and changes are required.
- Prepare a project schedule
- Prepare a cost estimate
- Arrange for and provides temporary services and site facilities.
- Ensure that all necessary construction permits and approvals are obtained.
- Provide advice on and coordinate the packaging and sequencing of trade work for the bidding process.
- Solicit, receive and evaluate trade contract bids and make recommendations to the Owner.
- Develop and administer a health and safety program for the site.
- Coordinate, supervise and monitor work of all trade contracts.
- Performs ‘own forces’ construction work to the extent permitted by the Owner and changes to the contract.
- Negotiate and process changes in the work, in consultation with the design consultant and Owner.
- Submit progress reports, including cost and schedule updates to the Owner on a regular basis.
- Ensure that record drawings, operating and maintenance manuals are properly delivered to the Owner.
